Everglades Hotel

I can only speak to the quality of the service and food as I have never stayed in the hotel. Previously (I believe under a different manager) if you attended the Sunday Carvery there was free children's entertainment provided - this is no longer the case. The food is still of a good quality but the addition of the children's entertainment was a significant draw as well. The bar food offering is excellent as well (including the constant top class service of F). There are a lot of young staff, great to see people getting a start/chance but I feel a little time could be invested in the training of these new starts - it would be to the benefit of the hotel and the wider industry. All in all a decent hotel.

Lovely, luxurious hotel recently refurbished. An inclusive employer, well done! Lovely decor and design. A great setting for a wedding or a special occasion. Lovely bedrooms, delicious food. Great service particularly by Robin and Mark. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of free parking. It is situated in a quiet area on the Omagh road about a mile from the city, so bring your car. You won't be disappointed.

Recently refurbished plush and modern hotel. Absolute luxury. Great venue for weddings or that special event. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Great sleep guaranteed. Delicious breakfast. Great layout to the hotel - separate dining, bar and lounge areas. Lovely decor. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of free parking. Only disadvantage is its location, a mile outside the city on the Omagh road. So bring a car. Lovely quiet spot. Highly recommended.

Fabulously plush hotel! Lovely room, huge double bed which was very comfortable. Spotless room. Great breakfast - book it in advance and it costs £12 bit otherwise it is £18. It cost me £5.40 to get a taxi into the centre where the pubs and restaurants were. Hotel room was super quiet too. Highly recommended for a really lovely stay.

I've been telling friends this really is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and over the years I've stayed in a lot of hotels. The rooms are fabulously opulent without being tacky: spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. Lovely bathroom and everything was simple to use - not always a given at big hotels these days. The public rooms are also classy and comfortable - it's one of those places you could spend all day in the hotel just chilling, reading, meeting friends. The staff were great too - friendly and helpful always. I ate at the restaurant three nights and the food was good - almost matching the hotel accommodation. One complaint was the lack of EV charging point - there was one but it was broken. I do wish the hotel accepted dogs as we would have stayed there when we visited Derry again as a family in July. The only drawback is the location - which the hotel can't help. You will need a car to get in and out of Derry as Prehen is a long walk from the city centre. This hotel is simply great value for money and I hope the Hastings Group looks at expanding into the Republic and across into the UK.
